Fishing with Nao Yamamoto🎣

At the invitation of traditional craftsman Nao Yamamoto, we went fishing at Lake Hyuga in Fukui Prefecture. Although it is called a lake, it is a brackish body of water located on the seaward side of the Mikata Five Lakes. The target is blue fish such as yellowtail and amberjack. Normally, when it comes to fishing ponds, people tend to get obsessed with how much they can catch within a time limit, but Yamamoto and his group are different. Using a long rod without a reel called a Nobe-ko, they have a one-on-one battle with a big fish. There is...

Guide to Hungarian business partners

[Informing customers from Hungary]

Over the course of two days, I guided Hungarian business partners to Echizen.

Although it was not possible to make it happen due to the coronavirus pandemic, he was very happy that his two-year-old dream had come true.

``Many of the artisans in Echizen are famous overseas. It's impossible for such legendary people to come and talk to me normally,'' he said, crying with emotion.

I am filled with gratitude to the craftsmen, especially Yu Kurosaki and Yoshimi Kato, who took me through everything from the workshop to showing me around the city. President Ferenczi and Mr. Peter were also very impressed.

They left Japan vowing to meet again in Hungary next year.

In an interview with the forward-looking web media MIRAI NO HAJIMARI, we visited Yu Kurosaki of Kurosaki Uchihamono in Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture.
The person in charge of shooting the video was a front-line professional cameraman who also directed movies. This is a mix of interviews and music. I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of content it will be. The release is scheduled for July to August. Details will be announced later.
Not only on this day, Yu-san always takes me out for delicious meals. And that's at a different store each time. There are many restaurants that offer really high quality cuisine such as Echizen soba, seafood, and kaiseki. By the way, this time it was a shop called Urushiya.
Echizen City used to be the capital of Echizen and was the center of Echizen. As you walk around, you can smell the history and culture everywhere. It is a region where traditional crafts have been flourishing since ancient times, including not only cutlery, but also Japanese paper, lacquerware, and chests of drawers.
At this time, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and the giant cherry blossoms in the grounds of Ajimano Elementary School were especially spectacular. I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Yu for guiding me so much despite his extremely busy schedule. I am always grateful for your help!
