Born in Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture. When I was 30 years old, I decided to become a knifesmith. Studied under Takeshi Saji, received thorough guidance from him, and mastered forging techniques. Currently, he is leading the company as president of Saji Uchihamono Co., Ltd.

In addition to forging knives, Mr. Nomura is also enthusiastic about making knives, and has released many pieces into the world with the signature "Made by Nomura." It has a reputation for its beautiful form and blade finish, and has even won awards at top-level knife shows nationwide. We also actively promote Echizen cutlery, such as holding forging demonstrations overseas.
