Kazuyuki Tanaka Knife Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is popular for its inscription "Made by Master Craftsman Seiki." Its roots date back to the Meiji era, when it began making sickles. The company changed its name to its current name in 2000 after changing its name to ``Tanaka Benkama Seisakusho''.

At the age of 20, the 4th generation owner, Seiki Tanaka, started at Shimizu Hamono in Takefu City, Fukui Prefecture (now Echizen City). After training for about three years, I returned to Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture. Knives that combine the high quality of genuine warikomi forging and the design of suminagashi (suminagashi) have many fans both domestically and internationally, and many of them are difficult to obtain. Mr. Tanaka is one of the best knifesmiths in Japan, spreading his wings around the world with his outstanding technique and unique taste.
