Oiri's interview

Mr. Ori, a knife chef, came from Kobe to interview us.

We talked about the reason for starting the business, the characteristics of our company, and the aspirations, mission, and dreams of our company's representative. There were so many things I wanted to tell the YouTube viewers that I talked for about 5 hours straight.

There are very few photos that I can post on this blog, but it was a very exciting and meaningful time. Please enjoy the details on Oiri's YouTube video.

This time, I attended Mt. Noro in Kure City, local cafes, Kure specialties, the 200 stairs of Ryojo Castle, and the Yugo Cruise.

Thank you very much for coming from a far away place!

[Media appearance information]

We were interviewed by the local town information magazine "Monthly Kureban".

Although it has only been a short time since we established our company, I feel that we are much more supported by the local community than when we were a sole proprietorship.

As a business operator in Kure, we will do our best to serve you and make everyone in the area happy!

This article will be published in the October issue, which will be released on September 25th.

Thank you for visiting us for two weeks!

I will be appearing on RCC Radio "Hiroshi Michimori's Barishaki NOW", which I appeared on last month, again this month!
The performance date is the 18th, Marine Day (Monday, holiday), and is scheduled to start around 3 p.m. This time, as examples of the knives that people from overseas are passionate about, we will be bringing one knife by Yu Kurosaki and one by Takeshi Saji, and we will be showing them off at the studio. I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

I appeared on RCC Radio's popular afternoon program "Hiroshi Michimori's Barishaki NOW"! I never dreamed that the day would come when I would step into the RCC studio. By the way, although he has not come out yet, announcer Michimori is a senior at his university (Kwansei Gakuin University).
The theme is "Japanese knives that attract the attention of the world." Based on past experiences and examples, we introduced the appeal of Japanese knives, which are so obvious to Japanese people that they don't notice, from a foreigner's perspective.
My heart was pounding as it was my first live broadcast, but I was able to enjoy the conversation with announcer Michimori and Mr. Fujita's light-hearted talk. As expected of a professional speaker. I was very impressed with his quick wit, his skill in counterattacking, and his ability to follow up.
I have something like a simple progress chart, but once the game starts, I don't have time to look at it... Finally, the time was up and I was asked to "please come again." But will there really be a next time? ? Look forward to it♪

New business partner (Miyazaki blacksmith)

[Information about new business partners]

I visited Miyazaki Blacksmith's workshop in Goto, Nagasaki Prefecture. I have been in contact with the representative, Haruo Miyazaki, for about two years, and I was finally able to meet him. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you as our new business partner.

Mr. Miyazaki is well-known for his Hakata knives, and was trained as a blacksmith at the Oba Blacksmith Factory in Fukuoka City, and his knives are popular overseas as well. He is particular about making handmade knives, such as honwarikiri, which takes a lot of time and effort, but he is able to make high-quality knives that are truly flavorful.

We have already placed orders, and the first batch of products is scheduled to be completed this winter.
