*Akebonuri's lacquer pattern is the work of Shinya Hatanaka of Ancient Craftsman Hatanaka in Kawada, Sabae City. Kawada is a major producer of Echizen lacquerware, and Mr. Hatanaka is a veteran lacquer craftsman (nushi). The red and black color scheme is called ``Akebono-nuri'' (bokashi), and the design is reminiscent of a sunrise. It is a very auspicious color scheme that can be seen on bowls and other vessels.

*As this is a handmade item, there may be slight differences. In particular, each blade, pattern, and color are different. Please consider the individuality of the product.
*The actual color may differ depending on the color reproduction of your monitor.
